Flavour Fortnight is organised by regional food and drink group Savour the Flavours.
Flavour Fortnight began in 2010 with very modest ambitions but huge support from Dumfries & Galloway's food and drink industry, who put together a spectacular programme of events stretching from Langholm in the east to Portpatrick in the west. 2011 saw the Flavour Fortnight programme double to nearly 100 delicious events, full of fantastic ideas, innovation and creativity. The 2011 festival and this website was made possible with generous funding from LEADER and Dumfries & Galloway Council.
This year Flavour Fortnight moves forward one week to include the August Bank Holiday weekend, and the growing programme of events has been split into four sections to help make it easier for you to plan your visit.
All the events within Flavour Fortnight are hosted by members of Savour the Flavours, the organisation that supports Dumfries & Galloway’s food and drink industry. Each event is focused around quality Dumfries & Galloway food and drink.
Whilst every effort has been made by Savour the Flavours to ensure the quality of the events programme, individual events are the responsibility of each participating business. All event details are believed to be correct at the time of going to print. Any changes or updates to the published programme will be noted on this website and on social media feeds.
