A charming, family run Country House Hotel set overlooking the Solway Coast
Dumfries & Galloway is renowned for local artisan food producers and Angus Fordyce of Cavens Country House Hotel pays particular attention to always using the best seasonal local produce on his menu, including home grown fruit, herbs and vegetables.
Set amongst the beautiful Galloway Hills, overlooking the Solway Coast, Cavens has an emphasis on luxury. During Flavour Fortnight guests are invited to partake of a Flavour Fortnight Feast, Dinner, Bed & Breakfast for £75 per person per room, based on a two night (consecutive) stay, and dinner from the Market Menu featuring local produce. (Normal room rates are £70 - £90pppn).
In addition all Flavour Fortnight guests will be offered a free picnic using as much local produce as possible accompanied by information on where the produce can be obtained or seen in production.
