The Earth’s Crust Bakery is a small artisan bakery set in Laurieston village producing slowly fermented breads to achieve outstanding flavour and texture with no artificial additives. Head artisan baker, Tom will introduce you into the mysteries of sourdough culture. You will make your own sourdough starter and learn how to look after it. You’ll then get to take this starter home and use it to make your own sourdough bread.
We will take you through the instructions of The Earth’s Crust Sourdough recipe and make sure you are ready to have a go yourself!
Tea/coffee included as well as a chance to sample the handcrafted Earth’s Crust sourdough breads.
